January 2008 - Children in Trouble
Please pray for the children of Kenya. So far about 100,000 of them have had to leave their homes and now have no school to go to. There is trouble in their country. The adults are fighting with one another and the children are suffering.
Come Lord Jesus Deliver the children of Kenya from unreasonable and wicked men (2 Thessalonians 3:1-5). Let Your words of comfort run swiftly to their hearts. For the sake of the children Lord, end the trouble in Kenya. Let the children rise up in prayer. Let the children of Kenya pray. Build your House of Prayer in Kenya Lord. Let the children pray! From the mouths of children and infants in Kenya, Lord God, raise up songs and sounds of praise that silence the enemy (Psalm 8). In the Name of Jesus
Pray for Orphans in Kenya Here is Some of Their Story
Dan is a pastor in Kenya. He and his wife Agnes find poor widows, ask them to take in one or two orphans. An orphan is a child whose parents have died and so the child is all alone. But not anymore!! When Pastor Dan and Agnes bring the orphans into the home of a widow, they then send money to pay for school for the children and to help the widow to feed and clothe them. Their prayer is that each widow who takes care of orphans will already be a follower of Jesus. Sometimes Pastor Dan has even built a new house for the widows.
Today Pastor Dan and Agnes help nearly 50 orphans and 11 widows. Remember God's heart for the orphan? Well our father in heaven has the same heart for the widows too.
