Generation of Destiny Children Pray

Encouraging Praying Children Around the World

Sept 2009

Please pray. It is Durga Puja month in India. 3 festivals are held one after the other, to worship false gods. Please pray for every child who loves and worships Jesus especially during this time. Pray for protection.

Lord lead the children in Calcutta NOT into temptation. Deliver them from the evil one. (Matthew 6:9) Be a shield around them Lord Jesus. We pray for the power of Your Holy Spirit to hide them under the shadow of your wings, so that there would be NO evil attacks upon them. Lord we pray for salvation in this time. We pray that You Jesus, would appear to the children of Calcutta. Lord demonstrate Your love for these children we pray.

And we pray for MB who works with the children, that you would fill her heart and her mind and her life with your love and your power.

Let praise and worship of Jesus, who is the Son of God, arise out of the streets of Calcutta!!

August 2009

Twice a week we are visiting the children at the railway station. Police often beat the children severely, so many little ones are coming to our center and asking us for help, we just open the gate and let them come in and stay for a few hours.

The health condition of street children is generally poor. Many suffer from sicknesses that don't go away like TB, leprosy, typhoid, malaria, jaundice and liver/kidney problems.  Many children have skin diseases, broken arms or legs and a sickness called epilepsy.  Many have a sickness called HIV & AIDS.

Most street
children have no baths, breathe in way too much smoke and get near other dangerous chemicals. Because they have no homes they are having to be always out in the hot sun, the rain and the cold. They do not have shelter, so they get burned by the sun, or they catch a chill because of the wet and cold.

So Lord Jesus You said that in the latter days You would pour out Your Spirit on ALL flesh. Even these beloved children who live on the streets in Calcutta. We pray for them Lord. We pray that you would send messengers to tell them about Your love. We pray that You would come to them in dreams and visions. We pray that You Jesus would direct and lead the hearts of these children into Your love. We pray that You would put these lonely ones in family.

June 2008

Please pray
1. D - who is blind - please pray in the name of Jesus he will be healed and be able to see again.
2. K - who is on crutches, he had an accident as a little boy and has not been able to walk well since then.
3. M - please pray, he used to come every day and I saw the Lord touching his heart many times; but now he doesn't come anymore. Please pray that he will be born again and come to know Jesus.
4. A & S - these 2 are orphans who sit at the station selling tobacco. Who will care for them? Who will teach them? They have no mom and dad. Come Father God you who have promised to set the lonely in families. Please give all these children a family who loves Jesus.

February 08

Please pray for the children hanging around on the train stations in Calcutta.  They have no money and no hope. they turn to drugs to  settle their fears, their loneliness and numb  their pain.

"We went to visit them and to pray. As we got closer to the children we began to see white paint covering their faces and each child clinging to a dirty old rag that every now and then they would bring up to their face and take a few breaths from. After 20 minutes of doing this the children would either get filled with anger or rage and begin throwing huge rocks at each other or many of them would just become very tired and dazed and fall down on the ground asleep."

God have mercy!  Bring help and hope and deliverance to these children.  When will you come?  Lord give us tears to cry out to you as in Lamentations 2:19

"Arise, cry out in the night,
At the beginning of the watches;
Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord.
Lift your hands toward Him
For the life of your young children,
Who faint from hunger at the head of every street."

July 12th 2006 - children in brothels

Please pray for Mitu
Mitu is from the brothels in Calcutta.  Ask your parents to explain to you about the suffering of children in brothels.

Mitu escaped from the brothel and went to work in a Christian business to bring freedom to girls from brothels.

Mitu began to have bad dreams, believing that an evil spirit came to her each night to torment her.  Because nobody could help Mitu even though they loved her, she ran back to the brothel, where the demon left her alone.

This is a heartbreaking true story, and we need to arise children of the nations, and worship Jesus who is Lord over all.  He has all power over every evil spirit.  We don't have to fight the spirits, we can worship Jesus and speak the truth that His love for Mitu is greater than the enemy's hatred.  We can pray Jesus will visit her and deal with the evil forces that are torturing her.

We can pray scriptures like this one from 2 Thess 3:1-5:
Lord Jesus, please deliver Mitu from "unreasonable and wicked men.  Lord You are faithful; please establish and guard Mitu from the evil one..Father God, please direct and lead Mitu's heart into Your Love.

We can sing songs about the greatness of our God and as we worship, we will touch the Lord's own heart of love for Mitu. As we worship Jesus, He will come to Mitu and help her.

What if one child would pray for Mitu once a week?  What if 7 children prayed for her each one day of the week and she was prayed for every day?

Calcutta Prayer Requests - submitted by Bekah

Calcutta Prayer Request - April 2006
One of the boys living on the street, called Dilsat got beat up by the police and told to pay 500 ruppees in order to be able to sleep on that street he was sleeping on.  Because he didn't have 500 ruppees he left and has been living in a taxi with a taxi driver.  Please pray for Dilsat:-
  • that the Lord would deliver Dilsat from evil, from trouble, from danger.
  • for more opportunities for him to hear the Words of God and to epxerience the love of the Lord Jesus.
  • for the Lord to give Dilsat a family of Christians to pray for  him, to love him and to walk alongside him.
