Thank you Lord for Your love and power shown to these precious children by making sure they can stay in their home. Now we pray for healing, and signs and wonders for each child's life in the name of Jesus (Acts 4:30).

Urgent Prayer Request - September 2007
Due to some problems some have said we may have to close our home. If we close the home we don't know where our precious 15 children would go! We don't know who would love them and care for them.
We want to stay open and we believe the Lord wants us to stay open. We need heaven's help.
Would you pray this prayer based on Matthew 6,for each of our precious children?
Let your will be done in our home and in the lives of each of our children
All that you desire for each of these children, Father God,
Let it be done on the earth,
Let Your will be done in Joy Filled Homes in Guatemala.
Fill the with the knowledge of your will Lord (Colossians 1:9), and as they pray, give them peace that is beyond understanding. (Philippians 4:6)

Pray for the Joy Filled Children's Homes
This is a home for learning disabled children in Guatemala. A dear lady
called Maureen is working with 17 Guatemalan adults to look after these
children. Maureen's dream is to purchase land to eventually have a home
for 100 disabled children. Maureen and her workers pray for these
children with all their hearts because they believe that Jesus can bring
healing and freedom above and beyond even what wonderful doctors can do.
Please pray:-
- That the children will be
healed of epilepsy. Many children are on medication, which helps the
epilepsy but which has horrible side effects which hurt the children in
other ways. The epilepsy sometimes spreads to other children when they
come to the home. This is not natural and so please pray that the
Holy Spirit will cover the lives of each child and that epilepsy will not
only STOP
spreading but will be ended in the lives of all the children.
- That God will make a way for Maureen and her friends to buy land to build a big home and a school for 100 children. At this time they are renting a smaller home and have alot less children.
- Please pray for all the Guatemalan workers, that they will have unity, that they will all have the heart of Jesus as they care for the children, that there won't be many disagreements, but that the workers will know deep in their hearts how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Jesus. Also pray that this love will spill out of them to each other too. Dear Lord Jesus - may these children be like a cup that overflows with your love and compassion.
Pray for Lyla and Pray for Nancy
Lyla is 5 years old. Her brain development is normal so Lyla
could be a normal child. But she is in the home because she cannot
speak. It is possible that something very upsetting happened to Lyla as a
little girl so distressing and upsetting that she has been shocked so badly she
cannot speak. Jesus knows exactly what happened to Lyla so please pray He
will touch her deep in her heart.
Nancy is 11 years old. She
has had serious kidney problems and we need to pray that the Lord will
completely heal her. But Nancy is also not able to speak very much and
sometimes gets very angry, so that she could hurt herself or others. We
don't know what is making Nancy angry or violent sometimes. But again,
the Lord knows exactly what is wrong. Please pray for Nancy from Romans
15:5:
"Now may the God of patience and
comfort grant you to be like minded
toward one another" just like Jesus
