February 08 - The Children of Belize




Belize is a small country in North America - Please pray for these children who attend a Christian youth group.

G. M. 12--His older sister M died suddenly after some difficulty. Gilbert is very quiet and we pray for healing of his heart and for his eyes to be opened to the reality of Jesus.  Lord lead him through the valley of the shadow of death. Let Your comfort be all around Him. We prophesy "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow G.M. all the days of His life and He shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. THIS is his destiny.

S. C. 12- loves the Lord and loves prayer. She shared her love for the word of God with her friends and many of them got excited about the Lord for awhile. But their attention has been captured by many other things. And now even S does not come to our prayer times.  S is touched by the Lord but is also influenced by the enemy.  Lord Jesus please put a strong foundation of love for you and Your word into her life. Song of Songs 8:6 says that many waters of temptation or trouble cannot quench the fire of God's love written on our hearts.Set Your seal of love upon S.C.'s heart.

E - M - N & G helping at our place - Fill them with the knowlege of God, with the knowlege of the Holy.  O Lord Bless them, O Lord keep them, O Lord cause Your face to shine on these. O Lord be gracious, Lift the light of your countenance and give them peace, And give them peace.

E. R. 13--He has a gift of worship leading and a man of prayer. His family just bought him a guitar and he wants to learn. Please pray for him. Lord we pray for E.R.strengthen him with might through Your Spirit in His inner man. Let Christ dwell in His heart through faith. Root and ground Him in Your love. Let Him know how deep and how wide and how long and how high is the love of Christ. From this place let Him receive the sounds of heaven. Give Him the song of the Lord. Give him music that will awaken and inspire a whole generation. Let love songs from heaven fill His heart, bringing great hope to His nation.

S. R., 11-- sister of E. R. At first she was a very serious quiet girl. to one who is finding much joy in the Lord., Lord let your great joy be her strength. Let her feel You as the glad hearted God, who delights in her even in her weakness. Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon S.R.. Let her know as King David knew that the Lord delights in her (Psalm 18:19).

C. S., 12--used to be with us in our youth group all the time, but when his school grades sank down, his mother kept him at home to catch up. I had a dream of C bringing his own food to a table of adults, showing that he now has gifts from the Lord to bring to Christians whatever age they are. Dear Lord we adults in the body of Christ in Belize receive C.S. We receive the gifts you have given him. We want to be a Malachi 4:6 generation. We want the hearts of the fathers to be turned towards the children.  We turn OUR hearts towards C.S. We commit ourselves to pray for another generation as You commanded us in Psalm 145:4. Give C.S. courage to speak what the Lord has given him to speak. Let him be like Jeremiah and let the word of the Lord be in His mouth (Jeremiah 1:4-10)

C - M - S & S having fun - Let the joy of the Lord be their strength

K. T, 11--another quiet one who is blooming and learning to open her heart to God and be a great worshiper, especially in worship dance.  Lord we pray for K.T. Let her be a Psalm 34 person. Let her bless the Lord at all times, in her dance and her heart. Let His praise continually be in her mouth. Let her soul boast in the Lord. Let her taste and see that the Lord is good. Let her dance declare the glory of God.
 
M P, 12--He has the ability to influence others, whether he is running after the Lord or not. Others are influenced by him. Please pray that he will understand that we love him and are fighting for the Lord's best for him. He does not worship with us now. Please pray for his heart, that he will not be offended but instead Lord give Him such great hunger for you that he runs to join in with worship and prayer.

F & K - Come Lord Jesus, protect these precious ones - fill them with all joy and peace as they trust in You

F. G, 10--a close friend of K, she keeps wanting to come though we have an 11-year age limit. Please pray that her hunger for knowing God will be greater than her hunger for just having fun,give her a spirit of wisdom and revelation in knowing Jesus, whose life was filled with gladness more than any other man as in Psalm 45:7. Let her understand deep in her heart, the height from which You reign Lord Jesus and the depth to which You came. Let her see the height to which You bring us and the depth from which You saved us. Let her rejoice in the goodness of the Lord. Give her the joy of Your salvation.

R. B, 12, K. D., 13, and S.R. 12. These three, along with C S and others who have since left the island to go to high school, were part of a move of God on the youth two years ago but have since fallen away from the Lord. they are like lost sheep who don't want to come back. Please pray for them that they will remember every touch of God, every time they heard His voice. Please pray for dreams and visions from Jesus so that they will know His desire is for them.

George with S C J S & E - Lord let your word run swiftly to the hearts of these children. Let them know how high, how deep, how long and how wide is the love of Christ

Please pray for us - help us Holy Spirit to have just the words they need to hear, give us miracle words right from your heart to give to these ones.  Do not let the enemy steal them from your kingdom. They belong to You Lord. They are Yours. We pray before Your throne. We join the intercession of Jesus.  Bring them back, never to leave you agein. Give them dreams in the night and visions in the day time. Show them that God You are real, You are Lord, You are good and You love them.

Finally please pray for us as we are trying to start a Christian High School so some of the above children won't have to leave this island. There are many troubles and we need a miracle of favor with the government.

Please come Lord Jesus to this situation. Please send Your Spirit. We long for a high school where we can speak the word of the Lord, when the students can freely pray and love You and love Your word. You are above every government so we ask for these students, "Let your kingdom come, let Your will be done" Give us a school of great learning, a school of prayer, a school of holiness, a school where the Name of the Lord Jesus is lifted high. Make it a sign and a wonder to all of Belize. Give us revival right from the first day. Affect the nation. Give us Your heart for this school. What do you want to do? What is in Your heart for this school. Come Lord Jesus. Stretch forth your mighty hand on behalf of a whole generation in Belize. Let the children pray! Letthe children come to Jesus in our nation!
